The Kotsanas Museum of Ancient Greek Technology in Katakolo presents, through reconstructed inventions of ancient Greek technology, the relatively unknown aspect of ancient Greek civilization that connects the past with the present in the fields of science and technology. Inventions in the fields of medicine, automation, hydraulics, shipbuilding, telecommunications, and other categories of ancient Greek technology are presented through interactive guided tours and audiovisual material (in Greek and English). The Museum offers guided tours, educational programs, and activities upon scheduled appointments. Additionally, personalized analytical guides of the Museum’s exhibits are available to the public in six different languages.
