EDUCATION / Air and Water

from the first “fountain” to the first “sound alarm” in history.

The program is designed for students of Primary School (5th–6th grade), Middle School (1st–3rd grade), and High School (1st–3rd grade).

Through hands-on exploration of specific inventions—such as the first sound alarm, the automatic fountain, Pythagoras’ cup, and Heron’s aeolosphere—students will gain a complete understanding of their operation as well as the application of physical science.
The aim of the program is for students to discover how the Ancient Greeks utilized elements of nature, such as water and air, to make their inventions work.
