The inventions of Ancient Greek Technology at the «Digital Arts and Posterity» in Paris

At the National Library of France in Paris (Salle des Commissions) the Kotsanas Museum of Ancient Greek Technology presented the exhibition “Ancient Greece - The origins of the technologies”, under the auspices of the National Library of France, the Université Paris8 and the National Institute of History. It was inaugurated on 7 December 2017.

At the same time, Kostas Kotsanas participated as the main guest speaker at the Digital Arts and Posterity Symposium on "The Rescue of Art and Technology in the Forthcoming", which was held at the French National Library in Paris on 6 and 7 December, at the exhortation of Florent Aziosmanoff, co-founder of the first digital art center in France (The Cube). The organizers of the symposium were the National Library of France, the Université Paris8 and the National Institute of Art History in collaboration with INRèV, the Living Art Lab and the Labex ARTS-H2H Workshop of Excellence in Arts and Human Mediation.
